We are putting in a flotation bag into the bow (to reduce water volume should we flip the kayak). Is there any sort of existing fitting or hardware inside the bow that we could clip the bag to?

The Loon 120 does not have internal hardware or clips pre-installed.

Can the seat and dash of the loon be purchased and fit to a 2011 loon 120?

For replacement parts, please give Customer Service a call to discuss available replacements. If possible, have the kayak's serial number handy as this can help in ensuring the correct parts are pulled for your specific kayak.

Do the Loon 106 and 120 have bulkheads?

Yes - these models have bulkheads behind the seat for the rear hatch compartment.

Stability, Stability, Stability! I’ve had horrible experiences with side to side stability in a big box store kayak. At age 70, 6’-1”, and 275 lbs. I’m looking for stability IF it can be found. I’m considering the Old Town Loon. What fits my needs?

The Loon 120 offers great stability and tracking. For more information on this and other kayaks that may fit your needs, please do reach out to Customer Service at feedback@oldtowncanoe.com or at 800-343-1555.

Im purchasing the loon 120 (30" wide) and Im a 5'9" female. Which size paddle should I get 230cm or 240cm?

We would suggest a 230cm paddle.

Shipping to Ira Michigan 48023 cost and delivery time

Freight cost would be $250. Average delivery would be 1-2 weeks. Hope this helps!

Is there any sort of paddle holder/keeper on the side of the kayak, or does the paddle just have to rest across your lap when your are paused?

The Loon 120 has a paddle clip, not shown in the online picture, to the right of the cockpit where a paddle can be stowed out of the way.

Trying to decide between OT Loon 120 vs 126. Have 2 paddlers in family. One 5’7” 170 pounds, another is 6’4” 175 pounds. Does 126 also track better? Is only diff 1 inch wider but cockpit same size otherwise? Any difference in foot pedal overall length?

Since you have some taller paddlers using this boat, we'd suggest the Loon 126 as it will offer more interior space, leg room, slightly more stability, and enhanced tracking since it's a little longer. Hope this helps!

Will the loon 120 allow a skirt

YES - For skirts or cockpit covers we suggest looking online at www.sealsskirts.com and they do offer a size 7.0 that will fit. You can purchase Seals products online or if you have any questions on any Seals Skirts products, please feel free to contact them directly. Hope this helps!
