SPORTING: A stable and reliable platform designed for accommodating you and your gear, these canoes are the ideal choice for those who love to hunt and fish. Available in camo and various sizes.
RECREATION: Ideal for paddling calm water, these durable canoes are built for stability whether you’re fishing or out with your family. Affordable family fun!
If getting out in nature by yourself is your thing, we have you covered. Compact and fun, these agile and easy to handle crafts are lightweight and durable.
CAPACITY: Consider who and what you plan on bringing with you when choosing the right canoe. A solo recreational canoeist does not require as much capacity as a duck hunter with decoys, a dog and a hunting buddy.
PADDLE: If you prefer to propel your craft the old fashioned way, consider one of our traditional canoe models.
ROW: Our versatile Discovery 133 with built in center oar lock sockets and a center bench seat allows you to effortlessly row solo or with a passenger.
MOTOR: Accommodating up to a 4hp motor, our stable square stern models are great options for fishing, hunting or general recreation.
CONSTRUCTION
We have two manufacturing processes for our line of canoes. The first process requires rotationally-molding three-layers of polyethylene. This three-layer process is used to make our Discovery, Penobscot, NEXT, Guide and Charles River models. Our second process thermoforms a single layer of polyethylene into the shape of a canoe. The Saranac and Rogue River models are made using the thermoforming construction method.
LENGTH & WIDTH
Stability and capacity is largely associated with length in width. The wider and longer the craft, the more stable it will be. The narrower the craft, the more efficient it will paddle. Consider how you intend to use the canoe to determine what length and width makes the most sense for your needs.
HULL SHAPE
Hull shape impacts how the canoe will perform on the water. Some of our canoes are designed with rocker (think of a banana laid on its back) for added maneuverability, while others are designed with flat hulls for maximum stability.
BOATS AND ADVENTURES THAT LAST A LIFETIME
Every hull, gunwale and seat goes thought the most meticulous and detailed design processes in the watercraft industry, ensuring our legacy of building the best canoes and kayaks continues. And we make sure the adventure never ends by offering a lifetime hull warranty.
