Long decks, outside stems and oval cherry gunwales create a frame so strong that no thwarts are needed on the beautiful Molitor. At 17’ long this hand-crafted canoe is one that you will want to hang up and display as art work. Considered to be one of the original “courting” canoes, the Molitor captures the look and feel of what a canoe design used to be at the turn of the century. Get it out on the water and you’ll find the hull design was ahead of its time.
